At the Appleton lab it was noted that everywhere we stuck an antenna there is fluctuation noise.
So we did a nutty experiment: We took an empty glass bottle (evacuated) and put it in the coil of a parallel tuned circuit and it was alleged to light a torch bulb of the terminals. It then exploded and we all crashed on the floor laughing with fear.
I understand it may be a consequence of Heisenberg’s virtual particles.
Another consequence is that if you have high vacuum tube and pass a current through it you find hydrogen in the tube, the virtual particles separate and condense as normal matter the energy comes from the electric field (virtual photons).
M (Kg)=energy (joules)/c^2 =energy/c^2 = power x time/c^2 = current x voltage x seconds/c^2
